名古屋是一個非常適合散步的城市，城市角落中藏著許多驚喜，原本準備去大須商店街逛街，路上意外發現這間《若宮八幡社》老神社，最初吸引我們的是鄰近神社旁那株茂密的樹，就這樣流氓夫妻決定進去參觀。平日的時候靜謐的讓人舒服，雖然不大但卻保存極好，一旁還有整排朱紅色的鳥居，後來上網查才知道原來《若宮八幡社》在德川家康時期可是名古屋的總鎮守，已經在這邊默默的守護著名古屋居民長達 400 年了（笑）

名古屋的觀光客沒有像大阪或東京那麼多，就這樣漫步街上真的很悠閒。
日本的神社的樹都感覺非常茂密，厚實的樹幹裡面不曉得藏著多少樹輪了，經歷了風雨依舊駐足在此。
來到日本神社旁，都會設置一個「手水舍」的洗手池，參拜前千萬不要忘記洗手喔。
勺起一瓢水，就算在寒冷的 2 月天仍要清洗著手。
跨越 400 年歷史，也經歷著翻新，如今的 若宮八幡社 仍維持著古老的建築體，但外觀的裝潢顯得新穎別緻，莊嚴中帶著一股華麗感。
實木門板上的歷史痕跡，搭配著金色耀眼的雕花，有種古今參半的味道。
每個月都會有固定的祭祀，延續著幾百年來的傳統與文化。
往後面走去還有小神社。
讓人驚艷的也有一整排在平成 25 年藉由不同的商店街和信眾一同捐助而成的鮮紅色鳥居。
因為非常新穎鮮豔和之前前往佐賀祐德稻荷神社的感覺又截然不同（笑）
