想到倫敦的形象代表，顆顆第一個想到的就是《大笨鐘》，而大笨鐘是《西敏寺》位於西北角的著名鐘樓，因為為「歌德復興式建築」代表作之一，在 1987 年被列為世界文化遺產。而同樣緊鄰泰晤士河的《國會大廈》則是英國政治決策的重要要塞。這些景點皆紀錄著幾百年來的英國輝煌….
倫敦的天氣有時候就是陰晴不定，原本還大陰天，過沒多久忽然來個大太陽，超幸運！

離開地鐵後，一出地鐵就會看到人潮很多，似乎所有來倫敦觀光的觀光客都集中在這了(笑)。
《倫敦之眼》是全球第四大的摩天輪，轉一圈約 30 分鐘。
在往前走一點我們就到了《大笨鐘》的腳下，哥德復興式建築傳來傳遞著歷史的味道。
而《大笨鐘》連結著西敏寺，繞了一整圈會有種一直看重複的景色感覺。(只是很巨大….XD)
可能我們剛去完富麗堂皇的巴黎，對於倫敦同樣有著歷史痕跡的建築就沒有那麼大的驚豔感….
《國會大廈》也在這一區，在1820 年沒有任何電動設備完全靠人力，可以完成這樣壯觀的建築實在也很讓人覺得神奇。
這裡後面一整片都是《西敏寺》喔。
凱特王妃的婚禮就是在這裡舉行的呢，可見《西敏寺》在英國人心中地位多崇高。
這時候剛好出現陽光和萬里無雲的天空。
遠遠的，我們選擇步行去另一個地鐵搭車。Westminster人真的太多了。
