過了晚餐時間的太陽牌草湖芋仔冰也是滿滿都是人，不過大多看起來都是觀光客居多。

巨大的招牌以及有點泛黃的照片，飄散出濃郁的歷史風味。
店內店外人都不少，以前 太陽牌草湖芋仔冰 是專做趴噗批發的。
而店員看起來像是工讀生的樣子，因為忙碌也是希望客人可以快速的點餐和給餐，整個過程很 SOP 的機械化。
這樣的模式其實在台南比較少見，坦白說還是喜歡較有人情味，以及多點笑容的店。
雖然冰品樣式非常多元化，但如果和流氓顆一樣不知道該點什麼，也可以先以「店內招牌」來點！
招牌是「紅豆牛奶霜 $50」、「草湖方塊冰 $50」、「核桃蛋黃冰棒 $22」，價錢坦白說不算便宜，瞬間有種在台北消費的感覺 XDD

「紅豆花生霜 $50」
上頭覆蓋著滿滿的紅豆蜜又淋著煉乳，味道坦白說我覺得有點偏甜
而下頭是的花生冰淇淋約莫 2-3 球，有著非常濃郁的花生香氣，吃起來很扎實可口。
「草湖芋仔冰 $50」一份有 5 顆可以任選口味，而總共有 7 種可以選擇，所以就任選了 5 種來嚐嚐看！
我們選了芋頭（這是招牌！！！當然不能錯過啊）、花生、牛奶、鳳梨和百香果。
太陽牌一開始只有賣「花生」和「芋頭」兩種口味，這兩種的味道當然是濃郁且扎實沒話說！
至於其他的口味也不錯，但總覺得少了古早味的單純香醇的味道，也就沒有那麼讓我們印象深刻…
而芋仔冰一開始冷凍且偏硬，需要用力一點才好叉（笑）
不過等有點融化的跡象後，就會以飛車速度快速地融化….所以建議還是儘快吃完比較保險，哈哈哈
《太陽牌草湖芋仔冰》是台南著名的古早冰品，如果沒吃過方塊形狀的「芋仔冰」或許可以來嚐嚐。
雖然對於流氓夫妻來說口味是偏甜一點點，但是或許符合你們口味也不一定呦！
