講到台南傳統辦桌桌菜許多人會立刻聯想到兩間在台南老字號的飯店，分別是「阿美飯店」和「阿霞飯店」雖然開張時間有先後順序，但皆傳承古早辦桌菜色，菜單上也頗為相似。而相較於阿霞飯店有推出以人單位的菜單，阿美則仍保留傳統形式，所以建議需要多人一同享用才方便。雖然在名氣上阿美略遜於阿霞，但是在評價上也是享有許多好評，這回就來嚐嚐阿美飯店的紅蟳米糕，來看看流氓顆的心得報告吧！
阿美飯店僅此一間別無分店，附近不是很好停車，我們是這次剛好住在附近的康橋商旅，步行就可以抵達很方便：D

阿美飯店在台南也已經超過 60 年了，招牌菜「砂鍋鴨」和「砂鍋魚頭」，雖然已經 10 月了，但台南白天還是熱呼呼的，實在無法激起人想要吃鍋類的心情，加上流氓顆特愛吃螃蟹當然專攻「紅蟳米糕」啦！
非常傳統辦桌的餐館，每張桌子鋪著喜氣洋洋的桌巾，彰顯出歡樂的氛圍。
因為這次來訪阿美飯店就我們夫妻倆，我們又不是屬於食量大的人，所以就量力而為啦，連老闆看到我們只有兩位就笑笑說「不要點太多阿。」第一次聽到有老闆說出這種話，還真是可愛（笑）
而坦白說我吃過「阿霞飯店」、「錦霞樓」和「阿美飯店」必須得說雖然同為紅蟳米糕但是卻做得大不相同。

以米糕來說「阿美飯店」相較比較軟和黏，雖說黏但又不是黏膩米糕的口感，吃起來很爽口，裡面的料也很多，有芋頭、火腿、香菇、蝦米和豌豆等等，最讓流氓夫妻喜歡的是因為含有芋頭而使得米糕口感更添酥軟與芬芳！
順帶一提不曉得為什麼上次吃完「錦霞樓」的紅蟳米糕胃脹氣了一整個晚上（不過我本來腸胃就較虛），相對而言「阿美飯店」的米糕部分不論是口感還是觸感，我們都比較喜歡。
其次是紅蟳的部分「阿美飯店」和「阿霞飯店」的紅蟳品種應該大不相同，阿美的紅蟳吃起來比較多蟹黃味道上面頗有台灣蟹的味道。而阿霞飯店的蟹膏滋味（印象中）有點偏向於大陸澄清湖的螃蟹的那種甜而綿密的滋味，頗讓人難以忘懷。
而整體而言不論是阿美還是阿霞飯店都是好吃的（不過阿霞和錦霞樓又略有不同，個人覺得錦霞樓比較精緻且不油膩。）同為紅蟳米糕強項也不太一樣，但都有在水準之上，就看個人偏重哪一塊嚕。
雖然我們夫妻倆只點了一道菜，但我們後來打包時，老闆還說「吃不完吼～還好沒點太多」讓我們忍不住會心一笑。阿美飯店的名氣雖然沒有阿霞飯店大，但是整體服務和氛圍很親切又熱情，很有在家附近的餐館吃飯的感覺很溫馨。
而這次沒選擇吃招牌的砂鍋魚頭和砂鍋鴨，只好等冬季來訪台南之時再吃啦，如果有吃會在更新文章的。
