小豪洲創始店老闆「陳木盛」隨國軍退伍來台定居台南，為了生活，向叔叔學習家鄉道地口味的沙茶火鍋「廣東汕頭沙茶爐」，而後為了紀念叔叔陳豪洲，便以叔叔的名字來命名。過去《小豪洲沙茶爐》是熱炒兼火鍋，不過因為生意太好，總被客人抱怨久候多時，經過多方思量最後決定結束熱炒部分，專心營業「沙茶爐」。而創始店從一個巷弄內的只有兩張桌子的小攤販，演變成已經開了三家分店且旗艦店還可以容納近 500 人的規模，這味道在台南府城傳香 50 個年頭依舊受台南在地人歡迎，而且價格也不貴，平均一個人 2、3 百左右，非常適合多人聚餐！
早先聽朋友說起《小豪洲沙茶爐》講得口沫橫飛，讓我們垂涎三尺，所以這次來台南也特別來嚐嚐這獨特的味道！而最讓朋友稱讚的是《小豪洲沙茶爐》的湯頭和醬料，以濃醇的豬骨作為高湯，再搭配炸過的扁魚蝦米，湯頭鮮甜的口感是越煮越甘甜。而「沙茶爐」最重要的靈魂所在就是「沙茶醬」，《小豪洲沙茶爐》也是自家調配的獨門秘方，主要成分是花生粉和蒜頭，加上三十幾種漢方中藥扮製而成，吃起來口感甘甜且少了一般沙茶醬的油膩多了份爽口！

↓我們去的是《小豪洲沙茶爐》旗艦店，週末晚上裡裡外外超多人的，外面也不少人正在候位呢。附近不是很好停車，但是《小豪洲沙茶爐》有特約停車場（在新光三越斜對面），可以打八折。
↓旗艦店一、二樓都非常寬敞明亮與隔壁桌間隔也不會太壅擠，而醬料區有提供：蔥、辣椒和蒜，沙茶醬是服務人員會依人頭準備地，碗筷和湯匙採取自助式。
↓平均單價都在 $50-100 左右，價格普遍都走平價路線的。其中也有比較高單價的像是「台灣牛肉＄160」但是非常好吃喔！特推！
↓服務人員會先為大家上鍋底，鍋底一片清透。
↓ 而服務人員上菜速度也蠻快的，而且如果桌子已經不夠放了會貼心地在旁邊架起一個餐盤架擺置在上頭。
↓我們點了（由左至右由上而下）「香菇」、「扁魚」、「豆皮」、「黑輪」、「意麵」、「蛋餃」、「凍豆腐＆豆腐」、「花枝漿＆香菇漿」和「玉米」。我們先將蔬菜類和扁魚丟下去燉煮，讓湯底更添鮮甜之味，接著再下一些已經是熟的火鍋料等，而特別推薦他們家的「花枝漿＆香菇漿」純手工做的，扎實又 Q 的咬勁非常好吃！而且他們家的火鍋料也比一般外面的新鮮好吃，這點也是讓我蠻驚艷的！
↓ 下圖左上的是點鍋附贈的，不過其實這麼一點一定是要再加點的呢。而我們家點了「豬肉」和「台灣牛肉」，兩者肉品都蠻新鮮的，但是因為牛肉選用「台灣牛肉」所以味道特別鮮美好吃，只要涮一下！啊啊啊啊～享受啦！
《小豪洲沙茶爐》食材新鮮好吃，尤其手工做的「香菇漿＆花枝漿」更是一絕，已經在我心中留下深刻的印象，而「台灣牛肉」就更不用說了，鮮美的程度與溫體牛相去不遠。至於沙茶爐的靈魂所在「沙茶醬」真的是味道獨特，尤其其中的花生粉香煞是迷人呢，後來我們還吃不過癮多跟服務人員要了一碗沙茶醬倒入湯中，原本清爽鮮甜的湯頭頓時濃厚了起來（笑），不虧是自家調配的獨門秘方呢！我們五個人吃下來約 $1300 算一算一個人不到 $300，以這樣的價位在台北可吃不到這樣的品質，真的是非常高 CP 值！大家如果來到台南想要享受冷氣與熱呼呼的火鍋，那這間 《小豪洲沙茶爐》應該會是你很好的選擇！
