台南林百貨從 1930 年開幕，開啟台灣文明的摩登時代！台灣第一個指針式電梯就是出現在這裡，當時很多人還會特地前來《林百貨》就為了一睹指針式電梯的風貌！而那時候也正是台灣開始接受西洋文化的開端，但隨著太平洋戰爭《林百貨》也結束了短暫華麗的相會。相隔 81 年的直到 2013 年才修護完成，成就了現在歷史新風貌的充滿著文創風格的《林百貨》，雖然到假日會需要排隊才能進入，但濃濃的老台南風格還是很值得探訪的呦♡
《林百貨》因為風格特殊，雖然名為「百貨」卻以文創為主，所販賣的商品與一般百貨公司大不相同，皆是與台南在地文化有很深的連結商品，像是安平名產「蝦餅」等等，也因此現在儼然成爲知名觀光景點，每到假日都需排隊入場。《林百貨》官方有列出「 8 大必看奇景」，接下來流氓顆會一一和大家分享喔！首先介紹第一奇景，就是建築外牆的「溝面磚」是 1920年代前後日治時代常用的建材。

↓ 第五必看就是這「頂樓神社」，該神社稱「末廣社」，為侍奉會社主護神的神社，為台灣僅存建築內的空中神社！

↓第八必看為「手搖式鐵捲門」，在以前那年代這可算是非常先進的防盜設備之一呢，過去都是以人工操作，共有三座都有被完整的保留下來喔。
↓ 二、三樓則是主打設計與時尚。
