S先生以前曾在台南住了 10 年，後來為了我才搬上台北，想當然兒每次想吃什麼的時候都會逼問我的美食口袋名單（嗚嗚…這樣人家壓力好大捏），而我們都愛吃牛肉，但S先生上台北後就沒吃過好吃的牛排了，忽然中秋假日待在家我們就想說到不如尋覓好吃的牛排吧。為了怕踩雷所以我們就做了點功課，發現《紅屋牛排》這間老牌的西餐廳幾乎人人推薦（在東區和南京東路都有分店，民生店則是近一年才新開的）所以打個電話訂位後我們就殺去了。訂完位掛了電話後，S先生立刻跟我稱讚紅屋的服務，因為服務員主動詢問使用的交通工具和前來的方向，同時告知哪邊有停車場，真的是很貼心。我們走進紅屋後，裡面的服務生每個笑得親切且感覺也很資深，也很像哥哥姊姊般親切度破錶。而我們也是後來才知道，紅屋其實已經有 30 多年的歷史了，至於老字號到底有沒有比較厲害，一起來見真章吧。

從室內的裝潢就可以看出頗有風味，且聚餐的朋友看得出來幾乎都是家庭聚餐為主呢。
民生店是長形的，裡面還有兩小間，到了晚上七點多幾乎座無虛席呢。
前兩道是蔬菜棒和沙拉，味道都很清爽鮮甜，且千島醬並沒有過甜的口感，搭配的不錯。
我其實很喜歡吃洋蔥湯，但台灣許多牛排館的洋蔥湯都是走清淡路線的，而我本人偏好濃郁的洋蔥湯，紅屋是我喝過用料實在超濃郁洋蔥湯，中間還有搭配有點蒜味的（麵包？）吸取洋蔥湯的甜味，整個很搭。
還附上起司粉，清灑一點在湯上面，加不加都不錯。麵包則是無限量供應的，如果你吃完一串食物還餓那就點唄，特別推薦蒜味麵包，是一面蒜味一面白的，將白的那面抹上奶油，真的很好吃。
左邊是S先生的，右邊是我的，分別是無骨牛小排和紐西蘭菲力，無骨牛小排真的油花很夠也很有嚼勁，S先生很滿意，我個人是偏好軟嫩的口感，因為第一次吃他們家菲力所以不敢貿然點很生的，所以這次點 6 分熟。但吃過後，還蠻滿意的，所以下次再來就會挑戰更生的熟度啦。
這個磨鹽機是紅屋老闆從德國帶回來的，磨出來的鹽超級細緻搭配牛排超級提味又香，完全把桌上放的海鹽給比下去，哈哈。紅屋的黑胡椒醬也不錯，但搭配過磨鹽機的鹽後，就…回不去了 XD。
吃到甜點其實我跟老公已經快陣亡了，布丁還好但蛋糕不錯吃喔。
最後就是飲料啦，S先生說紅屋的柳橙汁就像一般現榨的很好喝，坦白說他出門都喝柳橙，看他喝了那麼多次還是第一次稱讚哩。而我的熱咖啡沒拍到，也好喝。後來，因為服務員看我們在拍食物後來就聊了一下，他們真的服務很親切後來還送我們貴賓卡，停車還有補助金，真的是太可愛的店了啦，S先生說：他終於在台北找到好吃的牛排了。雖然紅屋的價格不算便宜，晚餐一個人＄980 起跳，但平心而論，比服務和好吃程度整個大贏王X牛排，所以，未來我們應該會成為這裡的常客嚕。
